Ft. Lauderdale Beach

After breakfast we took the "Sun Trolley" around Ft Lauderdale. It was only $3 per person for an all day ticket and there is an app you can download to track where the trolley is in real time. There is only one trolley and it takes about an hour for it to make a full circuit, so I wouldn't use it if I was in a hurry, but it worked well enough for a leisurely day of sight seeing.

We stopped at the beach. It was in the 60s and windy today so the locals are complaining, but it it was 14 degrees back home so 60 felt wonderful to us!

Along with the cold temps, there was a rip tide warning so there were very few people in the water. We let Amelia get close enough to dip her toes in.

Right after the above photo was taken, a giant wave hit the beach and soaked me up to the knees. Sweet Pea liked this experience a lot more than I did. :)

There was some nice play equipment for Sweet Pea to play on at the beach too.

Sweet Pea climbed up on a barricade to give us her Super Girl impression.
