The service in Murano is more elaborate than most restaurants. The waiters coordinate their movements so they serve and clear all of the plates at the same time. There is also quite a bit of table side service. Ross ordered a Dover Sole Veronique which was deboned table side.

I my appetizer was a goat cheese "soufflé" with a tomato sauce. It was very savory and delicious. It did have a somewhat airy texture although calling it a soufflé would be a stretch.

For next course, I was really craving a salad but I wasn't crazy about the one I ordered. It was very heavy with lots of bacon (officially: pork rillettes) and a poached egg.

For my entree, I ordered rack of lamb, which was delicious.

We were served a yummy cheese course before dessert.

I had a Grand Marnier soufflé with creme anglaise for dessert which was excellent. Mimi ordered a chocolate soufflé which wasn't nearly as tasty. It just didn't have a strong enough chocolate flavor.

After our late dinner we were all tired and full so we promptly went back to our cabins to sleep.
